The Operating Fund is a pool of resources used to cover the day-to-day expenditures of an organization. These expenditures, known as operating expenses or OpEx, typically include personnel costs (salaries and wages, payroll taxes, employee benefits), administrative costs (office supplies, accounting fees, legal fees, insurance premiums), marketing and sales costs (advertising expenses, sales commissions, marketing materials), facility costs (rent, utilities, property taxes, maintenance and repairs), and other expenses (depreciation and amortization, travel expenses, research and development costs, professional fees, licenses, and permits).

At Joy of the Heart Foundation Inc. (JHF), we recognize that meeting these operating expenses on time is critically important for our organization to function effectively and carry out its mission.
