These expenditures, known as operating expenses or OpEx, typically include personnel costs (salaries and wages, payroll taxes, employee benefits), administrative costs (office supplies, accounting fees, legal fees, insurance premiums), marketing and sales costs (advertising expenses, sales commissions, marketing materials), facility costs (rent, utilities, property taxes, maintenance and repairs), and other expenses (depreciation and amortization, travel expenses, research and development costs, professional fees, licenses, and permits).
